This one is of course, for Club Members only. It’s just a quick reminder of the two key dates for this year’s AGM.

Friday 23rd October.

This is the deadline for motions to this year’s AGM. Only motions with the Club Secretary, in writing, by midnight of this date can appear on the agenda for the AGM. The Chairman will, as usual, not allow motions from the floor or any abuse of the agenda item “Any Other Business”. Amendments to motions on the agenda will be accepted from the floor, unless of course they are a direct negation of the motion in the papers.

Saturday 7th November.

This year’s AGM will come to order at 10.30am sharp, in the Clubhouse.

Nominations for Club Officers and Managers will close at 10.30am, as the AGM comes to order. As usual, no nominations will be accepted from the floor.

Immediately at the close of the AGM, there will be another Open Forum. This is the usual opportunity for Members to raise any matter of concern or interest not tabled on the agenda. Members are reminded this is not a decision making meeting and there will be no formal motions and no agenda. It is however expected our new Executive and Sub-Committee members will attend and take note of comments made for future discussion and possible decisions within the relevant Committee/Sub-Committee.
